PBR - Professional Bull Riders brings the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour to the North Charleston Coliseum on February 13, 2027. This North Charleston, South Carolina stop pairs elite bull riding with the high-energy arena presentation that has helped make PBR a major force in modern rodeo. Prices currently start around $40, with availability and prices subject to change.
Founded in 1992 by 20 professional bull riders, PBR has grown into an international organization with hundreds of events each year. Its central challenge is simple to explain and thrilling to watch: riders must stay aboard a bucking bull for eight seconds, with scores reflecting both the rider's technique and the bull's performance. The Velocity Tour features competitive rounds and a championship finish, supported by video replays and arena entertainment. North Charleston's Coliseum provides an indoor setting for the dirt-floor competition, making this a distinctive winter sports outing in the Charleston area. Check event information for any announced opening acts or additional programming.
The North Charleston Coliseum, at 5001 Coliseum Dr, North Charleston, SC 29418, is a roughly 13,000-capacity arena serving the wider Charleston region. Its lower and upper seating bowls surround the event floor, which is configured for the bull riding arena and chutes. Since the action takes place across the arena floor rather than on a concert stage, a clear view of the competition area is the priority.
Lower-bowl seats offer a closer perspective on the rides, while the upper bowl provides a broader view of the arena setup; the venue's relatively compact design helps keep many seats connected to the action. Upper-bowl corner locations may feel farther from the competition. Accessible seating is available, and food and beverage service is cashless.
On-site parking is the most direct option, with additional nearby lots and rideshare services also available. Coliseum lots are reported to open about two hours before events, so arriving early can help avoid delays around the venue.
